Foundations Furniture is pleased to announce that our services will be reopening in June to support people in hardship to lead settled, comfortable home lives.

Foundations Furniture, Gateshead's community furniture charity, is appealing to local people across Tyne and Wear to donate any beds and mattresses they no longer want or need to support local

Foundation 4 Work offers work experience opportunities in a warehouse and retail setting where people gain many of the employability skills that employers are looking for.

In addition, we have free one-to-one support and small workshops to give you everything you need to be ready and confident to seek work or become self employed.

We believe personalised journeys are the most effective and rewarding therefore each programme is designed and delivered around your unique goals.

That's not all! Everyone who joins and makes good progress on our programme keeps their personal Foundation 4
