Volunteer Opportunity

Read Easy provides free, confidential, one to one reading coaching for adults who struggle with reading.

Would you like to make an amazing difference to an adult struggling to read?

Can you meet with a reader for two half hour sessions a week in an approved venue?

You will be provided with full training, resources and support. With a Coordinator and Literacy Specialist on hand to help you.

You would also need to be able to meet with your Coordinator and attend Coach meetings on occasion.

Skills needed

We are looking for empathetic, understanding people who have a love for reading themselves. You will need to have confident reading skills, be non-judgemental, kind and patient as well as being a clear communicator.
