We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people who have a passion to make a change to the community. This service will enable school children and the wider community to come and help out potting plants, growing fruit and vegetables and getting a feel for the outdoors.
We currently have some outdoor space which we would like to develop into a community garden for the wider community to enjoy. We are hoping to be able to grow a range of fruit, vegetables and plants in the garden. NECA currently has a community garden in South Tyneside which is also volunteer run, some of the volunteer we have there have been with us for over 20 years.
