Senior Social Session - Heworth Leisure Centre

Heworth Leisure Centre is delighted to introduce its Senior Social Club, launching this August. Designed to bring people together in a warm, welcoming environment, the club offers the perfect opportunity for older adults to socialise, meet new people and enjoy an hour of relaxed company each week.

The club will take place every Tuesday 11.45am-12.45pm and is open to everyone, whether you’re looking to make new friends, enjoy a friendly chat over a cup of tea or coffee, or simply spend some time in good company. There will also be a selection of light games and activities for those who would like to take part, creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all.

Come and enjoy a tea or coffee, friendly conversation and a welcoming space where everyone feels valued. The Senior Social Club aims to help people stay connected with others in the local community while promoting wellbeing, reducing loneliness and encouraging new friendships.
