Join our Cancer Awareness Drop-in

The Healthworks Cancer Awareness team will be hosting a regular stall at the ONECentre at our informal drop-ins.

They provide non-clinical  information about cancer signs and symptoms, screening programmes and getting to know your normal. Betsy will be there regularly to provide guidance around navigating barriers to accessing cancer services and will do her best to answer any questions you have! The service is completely free of charge and very relaxed with no question being a silly question. 

Healthworks are a community health charity which have been supporting people across the North East to live longer, healthier and happier lives since 1995. They are based in the West End of Newcastle at centres in Lemington and Benwell and they provide a range of services such as breastfeeding support, children and families session, physical activity support and a wellbeing pathfinder service.
