Forward Assist is a North East based award-winning charity that promotes post-traumatic growth for military combat veterans and those experiencing difficulty adjusting to civilian life. We deliver expert information, advice and guidance sessions to facilitate veterans accessing mainstream services, entitlements and benefits and successfully transition to civilian life. We promote active citizenship by enabling former service men and women to utilise their transferable skills, transition to civilian life and find meaningful employment. This includes offering: · 1:1 mental health support · Emotional wellbeing courses · ATherapeutic retreats · Vocational skills training · Employability advice
