Friends of Watergate Park are an informal voluntary group of people who come together every first Saturday of the month to take part in a litter picking session from 1 - 2.30pm.  We meet in the main car park on Whickham Highway.

There will be no sessions in December.

The litter picking equipment will all be provided, and volunteers will be provided with a risk assessment prior to the session being held.  Volunteers will be asked to complete a register when they attend and will be asked to disclose any medical conditions which will ned to be supported. The main contact for the sessions is Julie Scott.

Volunteers are encouraged to get in contact to say which sessions they would like to take part in.  All volunteers are welcome, you can take part as an individual or as part of a group of people coming together to volunteer on a one off occasion.
