By volunteering for this role you are directly supporting Barmoor Hub to open and operate safely, providing an invaluable service to the communities who use the building.
Barmoor Hub is a busy community venue serving the communities of Ryton, Crawcrook and surrounding areas. You will play a key part in helping us strive to be inclusive for people of all ages in a safe and welcoming environment and to provide a programme of activities to promote the physical and emotional well-being of the local community.
Volunteering is a hugely valuable role for Barmoor Hub and this should be a rewarding experience for the volunteers and invaluable to the communities we support.
Tasks will include:
- Water Flushing
- Emergency lighting checks
- Fire alarm key check
- Health & Safety weekly walk around.
- Completion of some simple paperwork.
Skills needed
Some prior knowledge of Health and safety beneficial but not necessary.
