We are excited to let you know that we have now launched our new Event Champion volunteer role and we’d like to invite you to get involved or share the opportunity with others!
Our fundraisers do extraordinary things to help keep young people safe. As an Event Champion, your job is simple. Show up. Cheer them on. Help spread the word that Papyrus is here for life.
This is a micro-volunteering role. That means you can join us for a single event or a handful across the year. No long-term commitment. No prior experience needed. Just a willingness to show up and make a difference on the day.
And if you love it and want to do more, we’d love to have you.
Our first event is the Great North Run. If you’re 18+ and available on Sunday 13th September 20269am-3pm (exact times TBC) and want to be the friendly face cheering on our fundraisers, you can sign up here: https://www.papyrus-uk.org/events/great-north-run-2026
