Girls and Goals - Lion Lasses 16+ Football Sessions

Following the England Lionesses successfully winning the Women’s Euro and the amazing legacy the tournament is looking to create throughout the country, we are looking to provide Women 16+ in Gateshead the opportunities to get back involved in football or to start playing the game for the first time. The Active Through Football project has funding available to set up Women’s 16+ football sessions across the area.

We will be starting a new Women’s only session next month at the Elgin Centre.

The first session will be on the 13th September and will continue every Tuesday, 6pm-7pm. The sessions are aimed at beginners, all fitness levels and abilities, even if players haven’t kicked a ball before!
