Gateshead Council have extended the deadline date for our Gateshead Awards 2026 to ensure everyone in our local communities has the opportunity to nominate unsung heroes. We have incredible people doing fantastic things for their local community across Gateshead and would like to see as many nominated as possible. The closing date for nominations will now be Friday 13 February and more information can be found at www.gateshead.gov.uk/gatesheadawards
