Connect with others who have experienced losing a loved one by suicide.
George's Hub is a weekly peer support group in Gateshead for people who have lost a loved one by suicide. Having lost my husband George in October 2023 I couldn't find anywhere across Gateshead where I could meet for a coffee and a chat with others who have experienced a similar loss.
The group offers a welcoming space to share and connect over coffee giving and receive emotional support to each other during your journey.
Whether it's 10 years ago, 1 year ago or last month and you have lost a husband or wife, son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter, or even a friend everyone is welcome.
We meet every Tuesday morning 10.30 -12.30 at Trinity Square, Community Room, Newcastle Building Society, Gateshead
