Volunteer Grounds Person

Love being outdoors and making a difference?
Help us keep our Hospice grounds clean, safe and welcoming for patients, families, visitors, staff and volunteers.
You’ll help with:
- Litter picking, sweeping and light weeding
- Keeping outdoor areas tidy
- Reporting maintenance issues
This role is perfect if you:
- Enjoy practical, outdoor work
- Like working independently
- Take pride in a job well done
You’ll join a friendly team, learn new skills, make a real difference and have your travel expenses reimbursed.
Skills needed
• Able to do light outdoor tasks such as litter picking, sweeping, tidying, and light weeding
• Willing to follow instructions and use agreed tools safely
• Able to notice and report problems such as damage, trip hazards, full bins, or areas needing attention
• Able to work safely on your own or with others
