Embells general Market place volunteer

Every Friday Embells provides a community market and food pantry. There is no Criteria to meet everyone is welcome to come along and use this service.

The market opens 11.30am - 2.00pm

Based upstairs in the onebodyforlife fitness studio

Fewster square, Leam Lane, Gateshead, NE10 8XQ

Volunteers are requested to help out during market place days and also the day before on a Thursday help sort out donations and prepare for the market place within the venue. 

There are lots of different items available including our bargain food bags cost just £4 you can pick & mix 12 items of your choice from fresh food, frozen, tinned, we also have cleaning products and pet supplies too. All the funds raised from our food pantry come directly back to providing more food provisions.

The market also have a selection of everyday essentials clothing, shoes, household, books, toys and more there is something for everyone.

We are always in need of donations to support our project and help us to raise vital funds so that we can continue to provide essential support to our local communities

Tasks would include setting up stalls, preparing donations, helping members of the public during the market place, as well as other basic general tasks.
