Young Carers Beamish Visit (8-12 Years Old)

Join us for an exciting trip to Beamish, the Living Museum of the North! Step back in time and experience what life was like in North East England in the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s. This trip is specially designed for children aged 8-12, offering a blend of fun and learning.

Date: Wednesday 8th April 2026 

Time: 10am – 4pm 

Meeting Point: Gateshead Interchange 

Travel: Transport will be provided to and from Beamish Museum from Gateshead Interchange. 

 Who can join? This activity is for young carers aged 8 -12 years old. 

What to Bring: 

• Packed lunch and drinks 
• Comfortable shoes 
• Weather-appropriate clothing (the museum is mostly outdoors)
