The Gateshead Safeguarding Adults Board and Gateshead Safeguarding Children’s Partnership have jointly developed a free training session specifically for those working within the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector.

  • Explore the vital role VCSE organisations play in protecting vulnerable people.
  • Learn about local safeguarding referral and signposting processes.
  • Develop knowledge of local and national safeguarding frameworks, including Charity Commission expectations.

 Who should attend:
VCSE staff, volunteers, trustees and managers whose roles involve contact with adults, children or families.

 📅 Date: 17 September 2026

🕥 Time: 10:30am to 12:30pm
