What you will make: A medium sized pendant or small pair of earrings to your own design using Silver Clay
What will you learn: Your tutor will guide you through how to prepare precious metal clay, how to texture both front and back of your work and/or create a central focus of design on the pendant, smoothing and refining the images, how to dry the clay, how to file and prepare for firing, firing with a hand torch. At this point your clay will become Silver. You will finish the session with learning how to polish and add connections such as jump rings or ear wires.
How will you learn: Demonstrations, discussions and hands on experience.
Your tutor, Imogen, is an experienced, professionally qualified Silversmith who will guide you through design ideas and appropriate techniques.
What is provided: 7gms of Silver clay is included in the price which is sufficient to make your own medium sized pendant or small pair of earrings. You will be able to buy more clay from your tutor if you want to make additional items.
