DJ lessons for young people

Northern Pulse host DJ Workshops for young people aged 13–18. If you want to know how to DJ or you’re already making beats in your bedroom, this is your chance to learn how to mix, produce & perform, build confidence & creative skills, as well as getting hands-on with professional DJ equipment.

Our sessions are fun, inclusive, and beginner-friendly, led by mentors who will guide you from your first beat-match to your first live set, all in a supportive space that encourages self-expression and creativity.

Northern Pulse CIC is a North East community music organisation. They use creativity, and technology to inspire young people, promote positive mental health, and create safe, inclusive spaces for learning and self-expression.
