We are an annual competitive festival of music, speech and drama. We are a registered charity and part of the British and International Federation of Festivals.

The festival takes pace over three long weekends (Thursday to Saturday) at the end of February and the beginning of March, each year.  Performers are aged between under 9's to adults of all ages.

Classes include adult vocal, young vocal, piano, strings, woodwind, brass, instrumental ensemble, church organ, school choirs, adult choirs, verse speaking, acting, plays, bible reading, choral speaking, public speaking.

We take place in Emmaville Hall, Crawcrook,  Ryton and Holy Cross Church, Ryton and St. Anne’s R.C. Church, Winlaton and we encourage audiences to attend all the sessions. Our aim is to provide a platform where amateur performers can perform to an audience, listen and learn from each other and receive expert comments and advice from a professional adjudicator.   The festival is organised and run by a team of volunteers .   The annual syllabus is available on line or from the secretary in September each year.
