We have formed The Robert Hattersley Foundation to help raise awareness of the dangers open waters. We will visit primary/secondary schools to raise awareness about the dangers of open waters to help keep young children safe when they are near these dangerous waters. This is so no one  else will lose a loved one when they enter the waters so no tragedies can occur around open waters.

We also wish to support young people who suffer with mental health who have lost a loved one or a close friend through drowning.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us with our foundation. We need people who are good with social media, technology, a treasurer, someone who's good with money, safeguarding, first aid.

We are having our first foundation meeting on Wednesday 17th May at the Fox and Hound Pub in Crawcrook between 7 and 7:30pm and will finish 8 or 8:30pm. Please come along if you wish to find out more or wish to get involved.
