The Girls' Network

At The Girls’ Network, we believe that no girl’s future should be limited by a lack of access to opportunities, role models or support.

We connect girls and young women with volunteer mentors who help them build confidence, explore their strengths and imagine futures full of possibility. Our mentors come from all walks of life and share their experiences, encouragement and insight to help girls see what might be possible for them.

Volunteering with The Girls’ Network is about more than giving your time. It’s about helping a young person feel seen, heard and believed in. Just a few hours each month can have a lasting impact on a girl’s confidence and aspirations, while also giving mentors the chance to connect with an inspiring community of women making a difference.

We work with schools across Newcastle, Gateshead and the wider North East and are always looking for local women who want to support the next generation. If you believe every girl deserves someone in her corner, we’d love to welcome you to The Girls’ Network.
