Gibside Community Farm is committed to growing seasonal organic produce by farming sustainably, for social good. We are a members co-operative started in 2013 with a friendly team of people growing tasty veg and fruit for sale from our field to the local community.
We grow organically on our large 14 acre field near Burnopfield, using methods that nourish people, the soil and the environment. We run a weekly pickup scheme from the field or from a member’s doorstep nine months of the year to the Derwent Valley and surrounding area.
We have lots of opportunities to get involved. Whether you’re interested in learning to grow food, learning new skills or meeting like-minded people, there are plenty of ways to grow with us.
