St Mary's Heworth Gateshead St Mary’s is the parish church for Heworth, Pelaw, Bill Quay and Wardley, in east Gateshead.

Pelaw Community Bowling Club has a pavilion set in a beautiful location adjacent to Bill Quay Park. The pavilion has a kitchen, toilets (male / female / disabled), and a large area suitable for a number of activities. These may include - card groups, flower arranging, WI, war games groups, any club that needs a  meeting place for their activity. Please contact the club via this website if you would like to use the pavilion for your chosen activity.
