S.I.G.N (Social Inclusion Gardening Network), renamed The Whinnies Community Gardens, is a project for people of all ages with mental and physical disabilities, providing leisure and gardening activities and the opportunity of meeting others who share an interest in gardening/leisure activities, but most of all, having fun!!
Greenhouses/sheds/tools/raised beds/potting shed/summerhouses/barbecues/tables and chairs are available free of charge. Anyone wishing to visit will be warmly welcomed and volunteer support would be much appreciated. There are gardens to explore and sit and appreciate nature. We have wheelchair friendly greenhouses and planting boxes. We can give you mini-plots if you wish to grow vegetables or plants. A relaxing space to enjoy.
