Our weekday lunch clubs are ideal for anyone wanting to meet new people and to build a fulfilling social life. It is also perfect to help carers by providing a safe, welcoming environment for loved ones so that carers can take all important time for themselves. It is beneficial for all, including those experiencing:-

  • early onset memory loss
  • mobility problems
  • loneliness/isolation or little/no friends or family nearby
  • bereavement
  • low mood
  • vulnerability or low confidence

We provide a two course freshly cooked meal, including refreshments and a range of activities including bingo, quizzes, arts and crafts, gentle exercise, party days, trips out and more.

People aged 65 and over and/or disabled are welcome from all ares of Gateshead. Minibus transport is available from home and back again for central and inner west Gateshead areas (Gateshead town centre, Bensham, Lobley Hill, Teams, Saltwell, Dunston etc).
