Cyber Security for Your Organisation

Delivered in partnership with the National Cyber Security Centre, this session will cover the essentials to ensure your organisation is cyber secure.

Did you know the average cost to a charity of a cyber security breach has been calculated to be over £1000?

The session will cover:

  • What kinds of cyber attacks a could target a small charity?
  • What simple steps can you take to enhance your cyber security?
  • What should we do if we suffer a cyber attack?
  • After the session you will be provided with NCSC’s Cyber Security: Small Charity Guide, and Actions Checklist to help you put your new knowledge into practice.

Cost:

This event is free to voluntary and community organisations operating in Newcastle and Gateshead. There are a limited number of spaces at our free training events and they are in high demand. Please confirm if you are unable to attend this event by giving at least 48 hours notice. Email information@cvsnewcastle.org.uk to let us know and also cancel your booking on Eventbrite. If you are unable to attend and do not give notice then you will be charged £20.00.
