Ideally, we would like the right person to be able to attend - but the forum does offer a hybrid model, so if you’re experienced at taking minutes, hybrid model might well be something that could be discussed for you to use.

An experienced ‘Minute Taker Volunteer' would be a game changer for us!

We are looking for someone who has an interest and is sympathetic towards the mental health and wellbeing environment. CNTW (Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust) is our region’s secondary mental health services.

Our forum works with, not for, CNTW - where we cover a wide range of topics from both internal CNTW departments and external charities and organisations that people using CNTW may benefit from learning about or from.

The role we are looking to fill is for someone who is experienced as a minute taker - it is a small, regular time commitment of around 90 minutes a month within the meeting, and time to type up afterwards.

We have a range of presenters for the forum, everything from internal departments within CNTW to external organisations such as Gateshead Council or the DWP - so if you’re interested in learning more about the mental health and wellbeing world we can guarantee there are interesting, useful and engaging conversations and questions raised to learn from and perhaps help those you may know.

Skills needed

The role we are really looking to fill is someone who is interested and sympathetic to mental health and wellbeing-and comes with a strong background in experienced at taking minutes for meetings, able to manage this via hybrid model, where people are present in the room and also via TEAMS.

We would like these typed up and shared with the forum chairs after the meetings to be able to fact check and send out to the mailing list we hold.

Benefits for the Volunteer

What is in it for you? A very warm welcome, cup of tea or coffee, and of course, a biscuit! Also access to interesting, useful and engaging speakers, conversations and issues, and an insight into the mental health pathways some people have to navigate.
