Pelaw Community Bowling Club are looking for volunteers to support us with basic maintenance tasks to help keep our bowling green well maintained and looking its best! If you are handy and passionate about keeping things in top shape, this is the ideal role for you!
General tasks we would like help with in this role would be:
- Painting
- Basic repairs
- Assisting to tidy up spaces
- Ensuring pathways and surrounding areas are neat and tidy
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment
- Litter picking
Skills needed
No prior experience is needed—we're happy to teach you everything, you just need to bring enthusiasm! We're just looking for a few key skills:
• Punctual and reliable
• Happy to wear appropriate clothing and footwear
• Friendliness and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and have fun
• Adhering to safety guidelines and emergency procedures
• Following club rules and policies, available on the website
• Comfortable with tasks such as repairs, painting and light maintenance tasks
