We're a growing project in West Gateshead set up to share skills and local, naturally produced fruit and vegetables from our orchard and allotment.
Our volunteers meet every Friday year round from 9.30am until about 11.30am and at other times during the summer.*
So if you would like to find out more about growing organically in a sociable, friendly location, why not come along?
Regular volunteers receive free fruit and veg in exchange for their work, which is even more reason to join us!
The Hop Garden is normally open for visitors on the first Sunday of the month from 10.30am until 4.30pm during the main growing season (mid May until October) and at other times by arrangement.
