This Opportunity is to be a Van driving / Delivery volunteer, you will be assisting Feeding Families in providing emergency food boxes to individuals in the North East. Your tasks will include, loading and unloading vehicles, driving or working with a driver to distribute our support. A staff member will supervise your session and assign tasks to ensure that the operation runs smoothly on the day you attend.



All our volunteering is done through a mobile phone app called "Volunteero", to begin you need to register by clicking the following link - https://search.volunteero.org/feeding-families

Once registered you can then select your own missions for volunteering through the app.

Skills needed
Fit and mobile, able to lift items comfortably.

Our insurance for a delivery driver only covers a volunteer with a clean licence and between the ages of 25 and 70 years of age.

If you are a car driver, in your own vehicle, you will be able to claim and agreed mileage at the current volunteer rate.
