Our fabulous Whickham shop is looking to boost their volunteer power! You’ll be part of day to day shop life – customer service, processing donations and ensuring your retail space is inviting, organised and safe for everyone to enjoy.
As a stock processing volunteer your main tasks would be:
· Sorting donated stock and quality checking it
· Preparing stock for sale e.g. steaming, hanging and tagging
· Where appropriate pricing stock
· General housekeeping in the back area of the shop
· Any other reasonable duties as requested by the shop manager
Skills needed
· The ability to work in a small team
· A reasonable level of health and fitness
· Have empathy with the Hospice values and environment
