Gateshead Multiply Funding Opportunity
The DfE has announced that local authorities across the UK will receive funding for Multiply- part of the Shared Prosperity Funding. This 3 year funding is to support the improvement of Maths skills of those aged 19+, who do not already hold a Level 2 Maths qualification. Individuals supported by this fund can be employed, unemployed, or inactive.
Gateshead Learning and Skills will be working closely with the voluntary sector to establish need, and to support your organisation and staff to have 'maths interventions' with your service users. There will also be opportunities to bid for small grants (up to £25k) so you can deliver maths skills to your service users. The funding must be used to support Gateshead residents.
We are delivering a webinar to give further information on this funding and how it can support your Third Sector Organisation. The webinar will include:
- A summary of Multiply and the funding available
- What are Multiply interventions?
- What Multiply means to the Voluntary and Community Sector
- Grants available
- Projects we are seeking

The workshop will be delivered twice, on the following dates:
