~Have you been a victim of Hate Crime? Would you be interested in using this experience to join Northumbria Police, Gateshead Council and Victims First Northumbria in working to increase referrals for support? Gateshead Council, Northumbria Police and Victims First Northumbria are working together to increase the uptake of referrals for support for victims of Hate Crime. A Hate Crime Victim Action Group is being developed in Gateshead to give those with first-hand experience of hate crime an opportunity to contribute to the work being undertaken locally to increase referrals for emotional and practical support. The first meeting of the group will take place in June 2019.
