Gateshead Dementia Caregivers meeting @ Leam Lane

The Dementia Caregivers groups are a peer lead support groups for people who care for people living with Dementia. Whether they are newly diagnosed or living at home, in a nursing home, or you, the Caregiver are bereaved.

We meet fortnightly and offer advice and signposting to other services.

We understand what caring for someone who is living with Dementia can entail. We also have speakers from other relevant services, to enlighten us on what help is out there in our community.

We are a  group who share a laugh and our experiences on our Dementia journey.

There is no referral process. Simply come along to one of our meetings if you care for someone who is living with Dementia, you will be very welcome
