Join Connected Voice on 5th December for our next networking event with the theme of: Partnerships with Education

From research partnerships that improve health outcomes for people in our community, to enriching volunteering experiences for young people, to collaborations that help organisations to deliver innovative work, partnerships with the education sector are a huge site of potential for the VCSE sector. This networking event will draw together organisations who are already doing interesting work through these partnerships and organisations who are interested in how they might work in partnership with the education sector.

The event will have presentations from:

  • Julia Heslop from Dwellbeing and Newcastle University, sharing her experiences of Participatory Action Research as a tool for community empowerment.
  • Kasia Kurowska from NIHR, discussing the work that NIHR has done in partnership with the VCSE sector.
  • More to be announced...

The speakers all have experience of effective and interesting partnerships that bring together the education sector and the VCSE sector. There will also be time for attendees to network with each other and share the interesting work they are doing

Please note our Networking Events are for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations serving Newcastle and/or Gateshead.
