Many patients and families affected by a liver condition or liver cancer find it helpful to speak to others with shared experience who understand their situation.
On the website link below you'll find information about the support groups we offer online via Zoom. Groups may be disease specific or offer more general liver patient and family support.
We facilitate virtual support groups which meet regularly to discuss a variety of topics, some of the groups are monthly and some are every other month or every quarter.
If you would like to attend a British Liver Trust support group, please visit Support Groups - British Liver Trust to find out more and register your interest. https://britishlivertrust.org.uk/support
These groups are for adults living with a liver condition and for adult carers of adults living with a liver condition.
If you wish to email us to find out more about the online support groups, please email the outreach team on the email address below. The outreach team are not clinical.
For any questions regarding your health or your loved one's health in relation to a liver condition, we would encourage you to speak to a health care professional and if you wish to speak with our nurses to talk things through prior to contacting a health care professional, please contact our nurse-led helpline by calling 0800 652 7330 between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) or emailing helpline@britishlivertrust.org.uk
If you are a parent of a child living with a liver condition, please visit Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (childliverdisease.org) to find out about the support available for yourself and your child.
