Ever wanted to research your family history but don’t know where to start? Then come along to the next of our monthly ‘Ancestry with Anthea’ session at the Heritage Centre.
Anthea Lang has been doing family history research for over 20 years and has run many successful family history courses.
Anthea retired from her role as Gateshead Council’s Local History and Heritage Manager and has continued to help people living locally and around the world trace their family trees with her wealth of knowledge about the North East. She is also an author and has written several books about the local area.
Come along and discover the how, where and when of family history research – we will be exploring family histories further and building on previous sessions, but equally suitable if you’ve not been to a session before and just starting out on your family history journey.
There will be regular sessions on the first Friday afternoon of every month, come along and find out more in this friendly and informal session taking part in our Map Room (refreshments can be purchased from our on-site café).
Please note, due to the popularity of these monthly sessions and limited space – these sessions now need to be booked in advance to guarantee a place.
