St James and St Bede Church (Gateshead Parish)

The Parish of Gateshead consists of two Church of England churches,  St James and St Bede Church on Wordsworth St and St Edmunds on Gateshead High Street. We have regular worship at both churches 10am every Sunday,    Our services last about an hour, we sing a mix of traditional hymns as well as modern songs. As we are a church of shared ministry and encourage our congregation to share their gifts, our prayers and readings are often lead by our church members. The ministers give talks that are relevant, accessible and down to earth.
