Foundation 4 Work, delivered by the Foundations Furniture charity, offers work experience opportunities in a warehouse and retail setting where unemployed Gateshead residents can gain many of the employability skills that employers are looking for.
In addition, we have free one-to-one support to give you everything you need write a winning CV and application form, search for jobs online, attend interviews with confidence or become self-employed.
We believe personalised journeys are the most effective and rewarding therefore each programme is designed and delivered around your unique goals. We can help you with any part of the employment process. You may just want help with a CV for example, or we can offer a full package of support from start to finish. Our programme is designed around you.
That's not all! Everyone who takes part in work experience combined with job readiness training receives a pair of work boots and high vis vest to keep, free of charge.
Eligibility
To receive free support, you must be currently unemployed and living within the borough of Gateshead.
