Pelaw Community Bowling Club

Pelaw Bowling Club aims to promote healthy recreation and encourage the game of bowls for all ages and both sexes in the local area of Pelaw and Bill Quay. We are always looking for new and experienced players.

We have 20 male and 12 lady members. Come along and have a go, no experience is necessary. Coaching will be given. Anybody can do do it. You'll find it sociable, fun and gentle exercis.

The Club can be found in Bill Quay Park. Turn into Taylor Gardens, then sharp right down Cowpath Gardens into bowling area Don't forget  Tai Chi every Friday 11:30 UNTIL 12:30 cost £4 Meet in Pavilion. 

We are now listed in Gateshead's 'Warm Space' initiative. Come along and try Boccia, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in a safe and warm space. Have a chat and meet new people.

The Pavilion is available for the local Community, and is wheelchair friendly . If you have a group, i.e. flower arranging, bridge club, knitting, art, or you are an organisation looking for a beautiful location  then please contact J.SUTHERLAND on 07835977455.
