North East Recorder Orchestra

The North East Recorder Orchestra was formed in January 2004 to give recorder players in the North East of England the opportunity to tackle large scale pieces either especially written for the recorder orchestra or arrangements. Members are expected to be competant sight-readers on the recorder; it is not suitable for beginners. Meetings are normally held on the fourth Saturday in the month (except August, when there is usually no rehearsal, and December) from 9.45am to 12.45pm in St. John's Church, Kingston Park.
