Crawcrook Judo Club's Medalist's

5 Local children from Crawcrook Judo Club traveled to Kendal, in Cumbria recently and they all came back with medals. Emma Kerry Gold medal, Emily Mitchell and Codie Lawson both took Silver medals and Aimee Lawson and Ben Grimwade won Bronze medals. The following week 9 children went up to Lanarkshire in Scotland and again all came back with medals. Emily Mitchell and Millie Haynes won Gold medals, Silver medals went to Codie Lawson and Leah Pattison and Bronze medals went to Aimee Lawson, Romy Dunlop, Emma Kerry, Ben Grimwade and Finn Trueman-Bailey For some of the children it was their first time doing competitions. Their coach Kevin said "I am very proud of them all and they can't wait to go to Goole in Humberside next week. Their coach traveled to Walsall in the Midlands to fight in The British Masters Open and he took a silver medal which secures a place on the British Squad.

Crawcrook Judo Club is open to all from 4 year olds up to adults of any age.

Sessions are held at St John's Community Hall, Greenside Road, Greenside, NE40 4LF

Saturday mornings 9 - 9.30a.m 4-5yr old, 9.30-10.15a.m Beginners, 10.15-11.15a.m Juniors, and Seniors 11.15 -12.45pm.

Thursday night 6.30-7.30p.m Juniors and 7.30.-9.00p.m Seniors.
