What is Newcastle U3A?: University of the Third Age.The U3A is a national and international organization for older or retired people. NO qualifications are needed or given. Newcastle U3A is about participative  learning with pleasure. We learn from each other and it is all run by volunteers. What does it offer? We have nearly 50 interest groups catering for a variety of interests. Each 2nd Wednesday of the month we have a general meeting. Where is it located? We have 2 meetings rooms and an office in Pink Lane which is opposite the Central Station. The general meeting is at 2p.m. in Brunswick Hall, Newcastle. How do I join? As a prospective member, you can have up to 4 FREE sessions to find out if it is for you but we are sure you'd love to join! All we ask is that you inform us of your intention to come along prior to a visit. We look forward to meeting you.
