Our Dementia Support service offers information and practical guidance to help you understand dementia, cope with day to day challenges and prepare for the future.

Our Dementia Support Workers offer information to people who are worried about their memory and ongoing support to people affected by dementia over the phone.

Gateshead council have brought together information on the support that is available for you to access if you need financial help.

The Primary Care Counselling Service is provided by Tyneside and Northumberland Mind and is offered sessionally for patients who:

  • Are aged 16+
  • Are registered with a Gateshead GP
  • Meet our referral criteria (available to download below)

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, we are temporarily accepting self-referrals.
