Saxophone Lessons

Saxophone Lessons are available for both children and adults. We welcome all ages starting from age 5!! (see below) Don’t worry if you’re an absolute beginner – we cater for absolute beginners through to advanced players. Our Saxophone Lessons are tailored to each Student, so you can relax knowing we’ll work at a pace that suits you.

Students will need to bring along their own instrument to use in lessons. If you don’t already have an instrument please get in touch and we’ll be happy to recommend some local retailers.

We currently have over 160 Students taking Piano Lessons each week at Sweet Symphony – it’s our most popular instrument and we have 7 teachers available to cope with the demand!

Our Piano Lessons include both theory and practical elements – very important in learning a musical instrument. We encourage students to take part in music exams when they reach the suitable standard. Exams are not compulsory but are a good way to gauge progress. Sweet Symphony is a registered Trinity College exam centre, so all of our exams are held right here in the Sweet Symphony Studio.

Guitar Lessons

We offer Guitar Lessons for classical, acoustic, electric and bass guitar, so whatever style of guitar-playing you’re after, we can help.

Classes are available for both children and adults, and all levels of ability are welcome. Looking for lessons for a younger Student? We’d maybe suggest starting off with Ukulele Lessons, which is a great way to get children into playing music and all of the skills gained are transferable to guitar when the Student is a little older.

Students are encouraged to sit guitar exams when they reach a suitable standard but they’re not

Flute Lessons

Flute lessons are available for both children and adults. We welcome all ages and levels of ability, so don’t worry if you’re an absolute beginner – we have a class for you!

Our lessons generally move towards Students being entered for music exams. These are by no means compulsory, but are a good way of gauging a Students’ progress and ability. Sweet Symphony is a registered Trinity exam centre, and so all of our Flute exams are held at the Sweet Symphony Studio.

Drum Lessons are now available at Sweet Symphony!

We offer Drum Lessons to Students from age 6 and up. Like all of our instruments, Students can choose to study towards exams or simply learn to play for their own enjoyment. Exam candidates follow either the Trinity or Rock & Pop syllabus, depending on which style they prefer.
