How you can help Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service - survey

Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service would like to know how much people working and volunteering within Gateshead know about the prevention activities we carry out.

We are asking our partners and those who may not have worked with us before to complete a short survey so we can see where we need to target our work to reduce the risk of fire and fire related injuries and deaths within the home.

The survey is completed anonymously. We will use the results from the survey to tailor online information sessions to advise of when, why and how to refer to Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service.  Details of the sessions will be posted on this webpage.

This project links to Gateshead’s commitment to put plans in place so that everyone has the knowledge they need to help themselves stay healthy and can be quickly and efficiently referred to the right services whenever they need more help and support.

We invite you to complete the survey, which will take approximately five minutes to complete, and also to share the link with your colleagues.  The survey is open from 25 September until 31 October 2020.  You can access the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/3T2VGD7

If you would like to discuss the survey, information sessions or work of the Prevention and Education Team, please contact Watch Manager Vicki Vickerson via victoria.vickerson@twfire.gov.uk or 0191 444 1885.

During these times of revised ways of working, we believe that this is a way that we can establish how we can work better together to provide positive outcomes to the residents of Gateshead and across Tyne and Wear.

The programme of partner engagement will be rolled out across all local authority areas of Tyne and Wear during 2020/21.
