2021 Ramadan Calendars from Haref
We know how important Ramadan and Eid are for all our Muslim communities. This year, Ramadan takes place between 12 April and 12 May. Like last year, it will be affected by COVID-19 restrictions and so it will be practiced differently to make sure everyone is safe and remains healthy.
Our 2021 Haref Ramadan prayer calendar is available as an online version only. We are not printing any calendars due to the difficulties of distribution and because Mosques and community organisations, like everywhere else, are closed. The calendars contain safe fasting information, tips on managing diabetes, what you need to know about COVID-19 vaccines, and managing your glaucoma.
As part of Ramadan, Muslims will be following a month long fast which will mean they will not be eating food, drinking liquids or smoking from dawn to sunset. Anyone with serious health issues, frail, pregnant or on daily medication/ medical treatment are not expected to fast.
