GemArts: GemArts is a dynamic arts development organisation - we profile and programme innovative and exciting culturally diverse arts, by creating and developing high quality concerts, events, festivals, workshops and commissions with regional, national and international artists across all art forms. Over the course of a year we: programme over 35 high profile performances, exhibition, events and commissions work with around 330 individual artists across all art forms engage with over 14000 participants in our high quality participatory arts programme attract over 50000 audience members from all communities to our performance/exhibition programme. Our Mission: To increase equality of opportunity for everyone to engage with culturally diverse arts - as producers, participants and audiences. Our Work: GemArts are committed to delivering an ambitious and culturally eclectic programme of work, and constantly strive to produce work of the highest artistic quality, including providing a platform for artists of international significance, from the UK and abroad,  to present their work to audiences in our region and beyond; we are also committed to excellence in our participatory arts practice, particularly supporting artists working in the diversity sector, and we specialise in delivering high quality arts based projects with schools and community groups across all age ranges, to provide an educational and enjoyable learning experience and to promote a greater understanding of people and their respective cultures.    GemArts is part of GVEMSG.
