Friends Action North East

Friends Action North East (FANE) works across Gateshead, North Tyneside and Newcastle to support adults with learning disabilities in meeting new people and forging lasting friendships. FANE’s one-to-one mentoring aims to create opportunities to develop friendships, learn friendship skills and help adults be more active in their own community. FANE has a fully accessible and interactive website, www.friendsaction.co.uk , which boasts a whole range of features enabling adults with learning disabilities to join online conversations and access vital information about a wide range of venues across the North East as well as events or activities in their community.
