GATES (Gateshead Access to Employment Service)

Aims GATES aims to inspire and empower adults with learning disabilities into sustainable employment. We provide a unique tailored service, to enable people to be self-sufficient within the work place and promote to employers the benefits of employing a diverse and inclusive work force. Mission GATES mission is to increase participation in work for people with learning disabilities through positive support to both jobseekers and employers. We strive to attain paid employment for people with a learning disability, providing people with income, pride from work and allowing them to demonstrate their skills and talents within the workplace.
